Nada. And I slept in later than ever. Go figure. This will take some getting used to, that's all. :)Austanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05568578637922817033noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8744889144101573638.post-73328765725632853592011-12-08T09:28:56.668-05:002011-12-08T09:28:56.668-05:00Geo.- That's awful. They say when you've been bitten pretty good you have Dog Medicine... if that's any consolation. Sure hurts, though. The bruise was worse than the chomp on me. Well I hope you're healed up soon.Austanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05568578637922817033noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8744889144101573638.post-52028932198140118352011-12-08T08:25:26.179-05:002011-12-08T08:25:26.179-05:00I hate driving in the first snow of the year too, ...I hate driving in the first snow of the year too, Arleen.

The week I met my wife-to-be back in '86 I rolled & totaled my Toy pick up in the first little snow of the year - Nov.11...

Had it not been for an angel named Donna willing to drive from Bratt to Newfane to Putney twice a night for a week I wouldn't have gotten to know the woman who became my wife.

So every year when that first snow comes around, I think of Nov.11, '86.
But after a few minutes of nervousness it all tends to settle down into - "driving in snow, what a pain.
Oh well, that's life in VT - wish that CT SUV would get off my bumper -oops! there he goes into a ditch...hope he's alright!"paulghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06403056340935138611noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8744889144101573638.post-55029413668620829342011-12-07T22:58:58.627-05:002011-12-07T22:58:58.627-05:00Fingers crossed for you. At an extended family gathering last night I was bitten by our host's dog. It was very large, very goofy. At least I think it was his dog. Full moon coming, you say? Are there goofy werewolves? Becoming one is another good reason I keep off the road!Geo.https://www.blogger.com/profile/16221314320558128986noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8744889144101573638.post-64587579026526423352011-12-07T22:15:08.148-05:002011-12-07T22:15:08.148-05:00Isn't it awful? It just seems more dramatic these days.

If you can't drive in it, don't, Arleen. There's nothing worth such upset.

Hope you are too, dearie. I am really scared of more trees falling down, due to the very moist ground. I don't remember being this frightened years ago, but now I seem to worry more and more about things I have no control over. Tomorrow I have to go to work, and people are counting on me, but if it snows, I will be a wreck. I was in a very, very bad car crash 10 years ago while there was snow on the ground, (although that was not a factor),and I am so nervous when I have to drive in it now. I know that I will get one block and have an anxiety attack and not be able to move. Gosh, what our minds do to us.

Hope you are safe and sound.Starting Over, Accepting Changes - Maybehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06032033918798053005noreply@blogger.com
