In 12 hours or so (not that I'm counting or anything) the DRB meeting will be in full swing. If all the people expected show up, it'll be a full room. Some pretty heavy hitters will be there and none of them are pleased. I wish I could be there. However, I'm hoping it will be streaming on the BCTV website. I'd like to see the faces of those who hold our fates in their hands when they pass their verdict.
Even if we lose, I'm never going to forget the enormous amount of support we've gotten in this. From my friends, family, neighbors and my blogpals, there has been nothing but cheering and encouragement. I couldn't have kept it together as much as I have without everyone. Thank you.
That's not to say that my body isn't reacting to the stress. I spent much of the night in the bathroom and will probably spend part of the day there, too. Even got a zit! Who knew that would still happen!? This could be a very long day.

In the face of all the media coverage exposing their idiocy I am sure they have already found a way to give in while saving face. This is just a little "drama" for the press. Take a deep breath and an immodium (lol) It's all going to work out just fine.
Keep the faith. We are all hoping that when Thanksgiving comes later this month, you will be happily nestled in your home.
I hope you're right all the way down the line. They will want to save face, of course. Thanks for all your rooting, Lawless. I'll hunt for some immodium! :D
Arleen, you're a dear. Your lips to gods' ears, as they say. I've already invited the usual suspects if I get to be home. I've already designed and drafted the "I'm coming home" email. After all these weeks, these next few hours are the most grueling yet!

Susan- well, I've been informed that even if the DRB gives the ok, the Town can appeal and keep us out. If that happens... could be months more.
Meantime, I'm trying to stay hopeful.
