Today is AMOK Day, the Annual Melee Of Kindness. Go nutty with being nice. Break down and give someone a lift, a hand, a sandwich, a hug. Smile. Standing or waiting in a queue? Pay the way of the fellow suffering baby behind you. Give. Call that person you've been meaning to call. Do something good in someone's name who's not here to do it themself. Share. Do something goofy to lighten the load. Give Free Hugs. Help. Volunteer somewhere. Throw a yard sale and donate the proceeds. Bring some food to a neighbor. Thank people who've done good to you. Spread the kindness.

Sounds like a great idea.
Since running amok is a fairly common exercise for me, this sounds like the perfect way to celebrate today. (And come to think of it... every day.)
Hey Laura,
Indeed, let's all run amok with kindness and good gestures. Of course, you like to spread the kindness everyday :) I would throw a "yard sale", but I don't want to um sell my yard. Ignore me! Be well and of course, my gesture of kindness is to share your posting on good old 'Farcebook'! Yay!
Peace and goodwill, your way,
Gary

AMOK AMOK AMOK! I hope everyone had and gave a dose of human kindness today. x
I did...I did. (and I loved that movie)
Such a brilliant idea. My act of kindness to himself was to mow the lawn which was bothering him. My act of kindness to myself is to stop being productive and play in the blogosphere. I hope you are being kind to yourself too.
