It's a soft Summer day here, not hot, little breezes tease the windchimes. The sky is clear and the kind of blue I've only ever seen in the eyes of a man I used to know. Squirrels chitter and birds chirp and it's hard to believe anything bad could happen. Peace is good.

Derek is taking a computer programming course at Udacity - a free online university. Of course, there are no credits to transfer. Yet.
