Some of the good folk of the VT Workers Center are coming here for lunch tomorrow. Got in the cold cuts and potato salad, some bread and veggies for sammich trimming. Used Marge the Sarge's jar-opening trick, so the pickles are open. I'll put up a pot of coffee. Should be fine. It's as ready as can get but I gotta say I'm tired of meetings. Even meetings with food. Especially meetings with food.
And from out of nowhere everybody's sitting in a cloud of doom. WTF? Is it the weather? Something in the water? A sudden zeitgeistical ennui? I could swear my parents weren't as miserable as a group as my pals and I are at this age. They were out dancing or having seances or running around with their friends. Of course, they had health. And a little money. And their friends were all alive.
Well. That took a crappy turn.

Now wait a sec. If the prior generation's friends were all alive who were they bothering with seances? Internet is a convergence of disembodies too. I myself am some charged particles in the ionosphere with a moustache.
