Carrie- Incredibly coolheaded and practical of them. Makes me tear up and restores my faith in humans.
Our news station is always a tad behind the internet..I read about it this morning and then saw it on the noon news. Good thing they were on board.
Those are some resourceful kids!
How truly lovely. And these are real heroes in my book. I get so crabby when sportsmen and women and athletes are labelled heroes. Not in my book. They are well paid for their acts of physical prowesse. Not at all the same as a hero. Sigh. Climbing down from the grumpy old woman soap box now.
EC- That drives me crazy. Athletes play games and are paid silly money. They aren't heroes. Extraordinary people doing brave and selfless things are heroes. Hey keep that box around! We can all use it!
