Ah, Spring. Part Deux

It's an icy mess out there this morning, with a steady downpour of sleet. It'll be nice out one of these days... this isn't one of them.

Since I promised Geo. I'd post when, my column for Vermont Views is up:

And aside from a litany of complaints and grouses, I got nothing. Maybe later. Think Spring-y thoughts!

Thanks, Austan! "Nana — The Republican Battleaxe" is a cogent, well-organized article that deals nicely with a party that got coopted by neocons opposed to government by discussion. Yet, Spring will come.

Geo.- Thanks! It's reworked from a piece I blogged in the heat of the election but I liked it too much to let it stay gone. :) Glad you like it.

Lawless- I saw robins yesterday and before it snowed this afternoon there were finches. It's coming, it's just taking its time.

Your column is a joy and a delight. And your Nana sounds as if she was too. Thank you so much for the link.

Thanks Arleen! I've only heard from the editor, who's very enthusiastic and tells me I'm great. :)

Oh, thanks, EC! Nana was a pistol. It boggles my mind to think she was born in 1872. All the changes she saw...
