The Donald becomes President today. I can't watch it. As a former New Yorker, I can hardly believe it. Here's a good summation of the whole dreadful thing:

All of us on the north side of your border have our fingers and toes crossed that things won't be as bad as we are all sort of expecting. My sympathies.
This is such a very sad day. Tomorrow the work must begin to stop this man from turning back time. I am watching happy, funny movies to get me through the day.
