Looks like the clouds are blowing over. It's still too chilly to put the plants out but my tomato plants are getting too big to keep indoors much longer. Since I lost a whole day to being hungover and feeling like death on a cracker there's a lot to catch up on today so I'll go to the news and get to the rest later.

There's something you don't see every day (the peacock, I mean). Wowsers. Now to see what part the stars played...
Ringo is looking a whole better than Sir Paul and the peacock looks better than the both of them. It is sad to see just the two guys left isn't it?
Glad to hear that Recover Day hasn't stretched out any further...
:-)

Bummer. That's one of the crummy things about getting older: the recovery from a "good time" lasts longer than the darned party does. Glad you're feeling better now.
Carrie- I don't think peacocks are native to VT...
Lawless- It really is sad that we're down to a Fab 2. And amazing to think that all the Stones still live (though they look dead).
Pearl- It's harder as you get older!
Susan- ain't that the truth! When the recovery takes longer than the party, it's time to retire.
Windy days make me antsy. We had a cat who on a particularly windy day ran up a tree. And bit it. We now say of someone who is moving into psycho mode - he/she has the wind under his/her tail.
Paul and Ringo look pretty good for their age.
A peacock has taken up residence at our National Library and has been named Andrew after Andrew Peacock - a politician who is (fortunately) long since retired. Beautiful Andrew has his own food and water dish at the library and is a tourist draw card.
