Whoopee!

We have a Severe Thunderstorm Warning and a Tornado Watch in effect until 9 p.m. I'm hearing rumbles and it's 88' F according to my porch thermometer, so there's a break to this miserable swelter in sight. Ah, sweet relief... I hope. You never know around here. Sometimes it'll pour and still not clear the air. This area has become Floridian, somehow.

But I have to say the gardens are looking lovely this year. My tomato plants are already over a foot tall and the roses are budded, just in time for June. A tad early, but looking very healthy.

Ah, more big rumbling... and sirens already. Hope the power doesn't go out... There goes the cat, and here comes the rain. Yay!

Take care over there....we've had a little rain too and some wind and some warnings but now..the sun is shining and the sky is blue.

We had rain and thunderstorms this morning. Over 6000 lightning strikes in 15 minutes, but only .5" of rain. The lower temps are on their way!!!

Well, we've had some rain and a little wind but the worst is passing just north of us and they're saying there's a tornado gathering in Putney, the next town. I have friends up there- Gal Friday and her family and Plague and company- so that's worrying. We had a drop in temp, at least. It's more like a steamtable at closing time now. The Tornado Warning keeps beeping all over the place but it's all a few miles north. Bellows Falls (Fellows Balls to the locals) had golfball sized hail earlier. Ah, thunder and lightning again...and the tornado has moved to New Hampshit. The Beest is asleep on her scratchpad, at least until the rain really comes down again. It's way worse elsewhere, though.

Fellow Balls? New Hampshit? Hhahahahahahhaahahahahhaaa! I know I always say this, but you have the best names EVER!

Our storm/rain passed through at long last this morning. Bit cooler.

Hope you don't blow away.

Those thunderstorms seemed like a blessing. Even though the air is humid and it is harder on my asthma, but it did cool down little bit.
Enjoy your garden. It is a blessing to have a good vegetable harvest:)

Carrie- I don't even name these things, it's this area!

Munir- Summer is almost worth it to have a fresh tomato from your own garden! :)

TSB- There's no place like home because home was torn down by developers.
