Turkey Brains

It's Thursday, November 29th and I don't know how it got that way. Thanksgiving is already a week gone and I'm convinced I have the Magical Turkey That Won't End. Well, 7 days of turkey is enough for anyone. Today whatever's left gets wrapped and frozen for soup. Five people have gotten leftovers and I've had turkey variations up to here. Enough.

On to Christmas. Finally got the presents wrapped and in a box for safe keeping from the crazy cat. I've outwitted her this year and got stick-on tags. Hopefully this year Special K won't end up with one of Cam's gifts.

The world? It's the same mess it's always been.

Now if the Collider starts turning out dark chocolate with nuts and fruit in it I'll be right there. I really wish the scientists would leave well enough alone.

:D Let's blame anything that comes out of CERN on the soon-to-be son-in-law! :D I know, I know... He has nothing to do with it. I just have to do my duty and pick on them LOL We have turkey left over as well. Derek is getting good and tired of it. We've decided we're never getting another turkey and next year, we're going out for Thanksgiving dinner.

Turkey soup was made on Monday using not only the bird but many other leftovers I had. It is all gone now, except for a some meat that was on a leg and I am cutting it up and giving it to the cats. They are not sick of turkey like we are.

Yes, that was a wonderful story about the policeman and homeless man. Better yet though, think how that story will inspire others to help the most invisible in our society. We need to be able to read more stories like this everyday. And yes, I know that most people are good, and acts of kindness like this happen all the time.

Your story of the week brought tears to my eyes. Your pyschopath trolley worries me. I can see the benefit. Would I jitter or would I push?
