Full Moon, Good News

A few really good things can make up for some of the massive general suckage that keeps us on this Earth (I've come to believe that old saying).

Most importantly, I've just heard from my niece that the 7 month-old baby who'd been missing since the tornadoes, Gage, was found alive and well today. I have no details. But the fact that he's fine is enough.

And after a notice from Amazon saying my new walker will be here between March 21st & April 5th (!), today an email shows up saying it'll be here next week. Just another week on a cane? That's very good news to me and my right shoulder.

So today was a turn-around day. It's been pretty much bad news lately. Let's hope this trend stays for a while. Nothing lasts forever, even the crappy stuff has to end sometime. Today looks a lot like that sometime. Sleep well.

An older gentleman that I know (81) uses walker on a regular basis. His wife used it for some time until her foot heeled. So for those couple of weeks there were two walkers in their home. They both say that their walkers were not the best thing but as they got used to them, they felt good about being able to get around versus strugling. I sit ans talk to them about getting old and they seem to be OK with their walkers.
If you need to vent, please do. It will make you feel good. Once you feel Ok then you may want to go around using your walker.

Munir- You're very kind. This walker is a replacement for one that I'd had for nearly five years that finally gave up the ghost. I'm looking forward to having a walker again, there are so many things I can't do without it.
