Losing Sleep

Just a reminder that it's Clock Hassle Time again. So set your clock an hour ahead, lose an hour of sleep, wake up in the dark and turn on the lights. And for what? Why oh why do we persist in this nonsense that makes no damn difference?

Look, we're not an agricultural society anymore. Even then, it makes no sense as the cows get all off schedule and it's a process of changing their milking times. Which is a huge pain in the ass. And again, unnecessary.

"Daylight Savings Time" is a load. Pick a time and stay with it, I say.

Meanwhile, set your clocks an hour ahead. We're going to DSFT at 2 a.m. tonight.

We have some weeks to go before we come off the damn thing. It is already dark in the morning meaning I need to turn lights on. We start it too early, we finish it too late and I don't want it anyway. Bah.

I agree. Time to dump this outdated idea.

Okay folks, how do we end it?

Until a few years ago, most of Indiana didn't change the clock. Which meant for part of the year we were on EST and the other part of the year, we were on CST. It sucked trying to remember which you were on when watching your favorite shows/movies. I personally like it getting dark at 5pm and the sun coming up at 9am :D

We wouldn't live long on 8 hours of sun a day. ;) Time is so conceptual. I don't get why we just let them go on doing this when it's outdated and silly.
