And in response to our brainless swimmers our decidedly unethical Olympic committee has decided that they can still compete - they just have to come home early.
Growl, hiss, spit.

Hi Laura,
I have friends who live near where the floods occurred in mid-Wales. Thankfully, all is okay with them. Hope your Welsh friends are safe, warm and dry.
Have a lovely weekend

Re: Commuters take note.

Trains running in a vacuum tunnel cutting trans-Atlantic commute to just one hour? Doubt I could hold my breath that long.

EC- We allow the athletes way too much leeway. Just because one is physically gifted shouldn't mean they get license to do whatever they want, but it does.

Gary! Glad to hear, and yes, everyone's okay. There are many who aren't, and are facing what we've been thru here. I wish them courage and humor.

Geo= it'd be like being in one of those old tubes in department stores, zooming from one floor to another and being spit out at the end!

I bet that book 'Amped' is a good read. Sure wish I could get a brain upgrade.

TSB- Life gets tedious, don't it?

Carrie- Welcome! If you get a link for a brain upgrade, please pass it on. Mine seems stuck in a 1.0 version. Especially today.
