The outdoors stuff is in. I had a nice bitch session with some of the neighbors, all of whom were evacuated last year. Finally got to meet Dave Rabideau's Mom, which was nice. She thanked me for causing such tsuris last year. :) It's looking more and more like this will stay well south of us and we'll just get some rain. But I bet we'll be evac'd anyway. Here's what Ally sent me this morning, showing where landfall is expected and how much rain Sandy will entail.

Halloween's coming, come hell or high water
So where was I before we were so rudely interrupted?
Ah, yes. Ghosts.

I'm glad to hear it looks like Sandy may give you a miss.
thanks for the tour of the cove...that was really interesting.
We just made a trip to there store and at the Kroger store, there's probably 20-30 utility trucks staging. At Wally-World, there's probably 20-30 tree chipper trucks staging. Couldn't tell where they were from, but nothing I've seen locally. This is the first time I've seen that here...
Oh!!! And, you know what's REALLY scary???? Drunk old people in swimsuits! "Get them clothes off Betty and get in here!" I about choked on my chocolate almonds when I heard that... :D
Lawless- Yeah, it looks like this time we get a break. But Arleen, Kick, my brother and all his in-laws, all my in-laws, are in the determined path. Not a good trade off. I'd almost rather it was me cuz I've done it before and know what to do. My brother's response when I asked him where they'd evacuate to? "The nearest bar." And I couldn't get an answer out of him.
They're gearing up to make money from the storm's devastation. How lovely.
And Ewwwwww!!!!
I went to one of them thar pubic schools. I remember this one Brazilian girl...
Hope the breeze aint too strong from Sandy.
Have a good one, eh :)
