The Scottish Scribbler notified me in a comment below that Clarence Clemons has died.
I'm a bit speechless. This really sucks.
There will be many eulogies, and articles recounting the Big Man's life. I found a good one, just posted on "Oh No They Didn't":

I just read it - what a superb obituary for a man who really was larger than life.
It's a good piece of writing. I think I'm in a sort of shock that he was a mere mortal afterall.
