And Gods Bless You, Russell Brand

Russell Brand isn't everyone's cuppa. That's the way with comics. But whether you like his work or not, he has a sharp mind and he says what he thinks. He's just weighed in on the London Riots. It's a considered bit of thought:

De nada, my friend. I'd say we're in good company.

From Paul, who still can't get in to comment:

I just followed your link to Brand's comment on the riots in London & elsewhere in the UK.
Let me put my reaction this way: if NPR had commentators as honest (not counting Diane Rehm - she's plenty honest) and entertaining as Russell Brand, I'd still be listening.

Thanx,

It was indeed an excellent piece, Laura. I kid you not when I tell you that he's got more of a grasp of the situation than many, many scottish socialists!
