Reading the news when you're not even fully awake may be the best way to take it. Rarely is there good. And a really excellent piece, like Noam Chomsky's analysis of the decline and fall of the US Empire

can sink in without your mind rattling down the tracks on its own. Or Maya Angelou's, a woman who's seen a lot, talking about Obama, the upcoming election and the Repos "pulling the sheets off"

Enjoyed the Angelou article, and recently signed a petition about Apple exploiting Chinese factory workers. Jobs may have been brilliant, but a "good" person, an ethical one? I don't think so.
And that's about all my poor brain can handle at the moment. ;)
Oh Gosh...never mind all the news...that last article was da bomb...I am still leaking at the eyes.
Carrie- you're much too awake for all of it.
Lawless- that's something that really hits our generation, I think. We remember being in love with cars. And Dads.
Good stuff! I especially like the Angelou quote about history.
Susan- isn't Angelou a legend already? An amazing woman.
Did you watch the Dad's car vid? It about killed me.
