there's a song whose message never ages
When I listen to that old favorite again, I feel there was something special just in reach at that moment. Somehow it eluded us and we got the ennui of the 70's instead.
Funny how songs can elicit emotions; I still hit the dial every time "Cats in the Cradle" comes on...that song makes me want to smack a guy. Just have to find the right guy.
Friggin' emotions...blech. :)
People were a lot less angry back then. I somehow know this song. Classic.
