The Oakland General Strike

Occupy Oakland shut down the port yesterday. Estimates come in of  3,000-8,000 people in the streets, depending on where you read it.

There was a handful of men in black who broke some windows. The Occupiers yelled at them, "You're not with Occupy!" and the men in black cursed at them. Agents Provacateur abound these days. The Occupiers themselves went to work fixing what was broken as best they could.

there is always that element...we had them at the G20 protests...no one knew where the came from but they were not locals.

They're always young men dressed in black with facemasks. And they wear very nice shoes.
