Before I take the computer apart again, I just want to say thank you to everyone. I couldn't have made it thru 2 1/2 months of homelessness and insanity without all this support. In an hour or so I'll be back at The Shire. I know the phone line's up, dunno about the cable. I'll make a mayday call to Comcast to get me back up and running if it's not.
Until I get back here, thank you, every one, for all your help and concern. You guys rock.

I hope the jokes and poems I post gave some comfort over the past 10 weeks, otherwise I'm not much help. But I've learned by the grace, courage and cleverness you've shown dealing with the upheaval and controversy Irene left in its wake. My compliments and admiration, Austan.
It's Sunday night here in the wilds of Ontario and I was just thinking of you snug in your little nest, reacquainting yourself with your neighborhood, possibly in internet withdrawal. Hope everything is working out for you and that you get reconnected to the WWW before too long.
